The Central Youth Football & Cheer League (CYFL) awards annually one $500 scholarship for a Rocket football player and one $500 scholarship for a Rocket cheerleader that is currently enrolled in School District #301.

• Applicants must have been a member of the CYFL organization for a minimum of 2 years.
• Applicants must be currently enrolled in Central High School.
• All applications must be received by April 30, 2024.
• Recipients may only receive this scholarship one time.

• Scholarship proceeds will be given directly to the student athlete.
• Monies must be used for the college or university that the student in enrolled in.
• Scholarship recipients are strongly encouraged to attend the CYFL Panther Appreciation Day in August/September.

Applicants must submit via email the application form as well as a typed essay in one page or less that describes:

• Their experience in the CYFL and how it has benefited them as a student.
• Includes any CYFL volunteer work that they have completed after aging out of the league.
• College or University they are planning to attend.
• Brief description of their career plans.
